The districts specified from the Lombardy Region with the resolution n.7/3839 of 16/03/2001 are sixteen comprehending 302 municipalities. In the Lecco Province there are two districts: 02 lecchese (production and manufacturing of metals) and 13 lecchese Textile.

The district 02 Lecchese – production and manufacturing of metals comprehends
40 municipalities, 28 of which in the Lecco province:

In the Lecco Province: Abbadia Lariana; Annone; Barzago; Bosisio Parini; Brivio; Bulciago; Calolziocorte; Cassago Brianza; Castello di Brianza; Cesana Brianza; Civate; Dolzago; Galbiate; Garbagnate Monastero; Garlate; Lecco; Malgrate; Mandello del Lario; Molteno; Monte Marenzo; Oggiono; Olginate; Pescate; Rogeno; Sirone; Suello; Valgreghentino; Valmadrea

In the Como Province: Canzo; Caslino d’Erba; Castelmarte; Eupilio; Longone al Segrino; Proserpio; Pusiano

In  the Bergamo Province: Cisano Bergamasco

In the Monza Brianza Province: Besana Brianza; Briosco; Renate; Veduggio con Colzano

For the production and manufacturing of metals are recognized also these other districts in Lombardy:

– 01 Valle dell’Arno (Varese);
– 03 Valli Bresciane (Brescia)

Besides the two Districts recognized by the Region Lombardy – the Metalmeccanico and the LeccoTextile  – in the territory there is also the district of the cutlery of Premana,  the nautical one, and the Cluster “Technologies for the Environments of Life (TAV)” coordinated by Univerlecco and recognized by the same Region. These last are not autonomous Entities: for instance the enterprises of the cutlery of Premana, those mechanics of the nautical one and the Cluster TAV are counted among those of the sector and of the District Metalmeccanico lecchese.
