Almost two thirds of Lecco's cross-border trade volume are exported to the EU countries. This mainly depends on the medium-small size of Lecco enterprises. This is a characteristics which urges companies to resort to agents or own sales networks to manage their business abroad. On the other hand, they also give their preference to direct sale to concerns or, as an alternative, to wholesalers or importers.
